88 Restaurant, Jonker Street, Melaka

written by Sarah Michael Griffin July 12, 2017

Read about our trip to Melaka here.

This was by far the hardest place for us to look for – because of nearsightedness. We actually passed this area before actually going onto the next lane and doubling back again. The name of the restaurant was on the roof so we didn’t notice it when we passed it.

This shop is famous for its cendol and laksa. The ambience inside was too crowded and we can’t lounge there too long. You just had to eat and then leave, even sharing tables with strangers due to the small confines of the shop. All that pales in comparison to the taste of the food and the cendol. We would definitely go back there again in the future.
